Teen | Sisterhood Gathering

The Teen Sisterhood Gatherings are to empower girls and encourage exploration of assertiveness, emotional boundaries, confidence, healthy relationships, identifying toxic relationships, and warning signs of trauma while managing mental health. It is with thoughtful intention that we provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where each and every girl who enters is welcomed, respected, and honored.

The girls' ages range between 13-19 years old and we are always welcoming new faces each gathering. No need to feel like you will be the “New Kid” you will be happily welcomed and never left out.

We focus on building confidence, self-worth, self-care practices, mental clarity, and comfort knowing they are not alone in all that they are going through in life. In addition to being facilitated by Rebecca Ahern, owner of Axiom Lux, we also have peer facilitators to ensure that all feel seen and heard. With the peer facilitators providing topic and activity ideas, ensuring gatherings are never out of touch with the real world stressors and pressures teen girls face. Together, the facilitators provide a safe space for the girls to connect, grow and build on strengths.

Teens: You are not alone. Teen Sisterhood Gatherings offer a safe place for you to connect, share stories and offer encouragement. Positive social support and community are a critical component in developing into a well rounded and emotionally intelligent adult. We offer a sacred gathering space, where you can experience a sense of belonging and connection. We believe that this is where healing takes place, allowing you to live life to your fullest, most amazing potential.

This is an emotional wellness skills group, for support only, this is not considered therapy.

• PARTICIPATION IS VOLUNTARY No one is forced to participate in group discussions, however, everyone will be encouraged. Active participation in the group discussions will allow the participants to learn from each other, as well as discover that they are not alone in their feelings.
• CREATING A SAFE SPACE The main ground rule is that everything discussed in group is held in confidence so as to create a safe space for members to feel free to open up. Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be unacceptable. Any casual discussions of drugs or alcohol will also be discouraged.
