Reiki 1:
Provides an introduction to Reiki, including the history, applications, and current research on this light touch therapy from Japan. In class, you practice offering Reiki to yourself and others. You leave class with a certificate, fully trained to do level 1 Reiki.

Prerequisite: None. There is no background nor skills required to take this course.
Description: This is the beginning level of Reiki training. You will be able to practice Reiki on yourself and expand to learn about the energy field of others. The training consists of discussion, the Reiki Level I attunement, hands-on practice, and other course materials.
You will learn the history of Reiki, have a general understanding of chakras and auras, practice Reiki for self-treatment and treatment on others. You will be learn to scan the body for energy.
*please wear comfortable clothing, bring snacks and a lunch. Some snacks and tea will be provided.
